the challenge

Your work is hard—that comes with the territory of being a nonprofit leader.

But it’s harder when you have to fight against systemic racism and gender bias in your work, organization and community.

DO YOU FIND YOURSELF

  • Spending excessive time proving to others that you deserve to be in your position, instead of spending it on mission-critical work?

  • Isolated with no one to turn to for validation or guidance?

  • Questioning whether you’ve made a mistake taking what you thought was a dream job…but it feels more like an utter mess with no support?

  • Unsure of how to handle high expectations with minimal resources?

  • Under intense pressure from yourself and others to handle everything, without being able to be vulnerable or to ask for help?

  • Not knowing know who you can trust without them judging you?

  • Completely overwhelmed, burnt out, and sinking under the emotional weight of the mission, about which you care deeply?

You may feel unsupported, underwater, and unclear about your next steps as you navigate nonprofit leadership.

But you don’t have to do it alone.

What if you had

A safe space to tap into your own wisdom and discuss your challenges, frustrations, opportunities, and successes?

Time and space to reflect on and reimagine what’s possible for you and your organization?

Guidance to successfully navigate racism, misogyny, and other inequities that are present in your organization?

The understanding and support you need to be the leader you truly are already?

Hi, I’m Dr. Lynette Fraga

nonprofit leadership coach
founder & CEO OF FIERCELY FORWARD

Having successfully led organizations in diverse sectors—including 15 years in the C-Suite, 10 years as CEO for a large, national nonprofit—I have experienced the complexity of leadership and its wins, losses, and hard-earned lessons. Especially as a BIPOC woman.

Now, as an executive coach, strategic consultant, and speaker, I am dedicated to supporting women of color who are leading organizations destined to make our world a better place.

With over 30 years’ experience, I’m an expert at helping leaders from every seat navigate the complexities of social, organizational, personal, and professional change.

And as a mission-driven executive, I believe in the necessity to address inequities and disparities, contest racism and prejudice, and affect positive social change—so that the dreams of each and every person are made attainable.

Kind words

“Lynette has been a transformational coach, mentor, and supervisor throughout my career.

She has an incredible ability to provide strategic insight while challenging me to be the best version of myself.  Lynette asks strategic questions, helps challenge biases, and empowers you to take risks.

I've learned from her example how to be a strategic and reflective thinker. She's also been there and done that, making her mentorship even that much more credible.
